The Opening ceremony for this Millennium Symposium began with my Curtain raiser welcome performance piece on the clarinet " I Dreamed A Dream" at the Grand ballroom of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Abdullah Tarmugi, Minister for Community Development and Sports, addressed this event . At the end of ceremony the Minister gave me an award of Appreciation. I was interviewed by many local news media .
