Paasaadika Diigha Paa.tika Vagga DN.29 D.iii.117ff. 15/259 teacher, teaching On the death of Nigantha Nataputta, wrangling breaks out amongst his followers. The Buddha said not much more is to be expected from followers of such a doctrine. Concerns the teacher and Dhammavinaya that is perfect and imperfect.
Also the Buddha enumerates the Three Forms of Proficiency (kosalla): 1. proficiency as to gain or progress (aayakosalla); 2. proficiency as to loss or regret (apaayakosalla), and; 3. skilful means (upaayakosalla) at D.iii.220.
