(A) Alvan Lyell Barger states that this John Barger died unmarried. Kevin R. Barger and Ralph L. Barger researched further and provided the information about John Barger and his family as shown here.

(B) Ransom Barger and Francis Buckbee, the husband of Sarah Esther Barger, both died on 12 Feb 1895 and there was a double funeral. They are buried together with Isiah Barger at the Mohopac Falls Presbyterian Church.

(C) This family is descended from the Putnam Valley Barger family of New York.
