Canterbury Tribute. Mellow Records is planning a tribute collection to the bands from Canterbury (Soft Machine, Caravan, etc.). Synthetic Block is contributing a version of Soft Machine's "Soft Weed Factor." More information on this collection will be posted when it's available.

Compilation Mania. Synthetic Block has a number of compilation appearances that should be available in the next few months. "Shoal Part 1," will be featured on the GoldTri: Volume 2 sampler, a two-disc collection that contains some great artists. Block has also contributed a version of Emerson, Lake & Palmer's "The Barbarian," to Mellow Records ELP Tribute, Fanfare for the Pirates. There will also be a Synthetic Block track on SFWD Production's Experimental Audio v.2 collection. More information on these appearances will be available soon.
