Kid Conductor I took this song from the 12" single for Silver, it is pretty much the same as the demo version, the only difference is perhaps the mixing. This song is not too difficult, it is just a little tricky at parts, so some parts I have written as close as I can to the song. If you have any comments/corrections, drop me a line at 103040.505@compuserve.com Intro: First there will be a bass line (it is the same as Riff 1 for guitar) with the guitar playing some high notes over it. These are played something like: E---------------12---12----------- B-----17---17--------17----------- G-16-----------------16--9------- D---------------------------9---- A------------------------------7- After there is bass-style riff. I'll call this riff 1, it is the same as the bass plays in the beginning. I use / as my symbol for slide and ^ for hard pick. A-3-/-5--5-5-5-^5-------- E---------------------^5-0- Repeat Riff 1 until chorus Chorus: The chorus line is the hardest part (in my opinion) of the song, since it is tricky to hear. D---/-14-/-9-/-12-/-7-/-11-/-7-/-9-/-5-/-2-/- Repeat this until Dave sings "she screams Alive!" then play G--9--- D--9--- Play this chord until the bass line starts again. A--7--- Repeat these riffs again and after the part "she screams alive..." there is another part (played with a wah pedal) the chord is played: G--12--- D--12--- A--10---- This chord is then followed by a few descending chords played: G----9----7---5------ D----9----7---5------ A----7----5---3--^0-- E---------------------^0 After repeating these riffs again, there will be a break with a bass and keyboard part. The guitar notes on top of this part is: D--14-14-12-12-11-11-9-9-14-14-12-12-11-11-9-9-14-14-12-12-11-9-9- Followed by a part with distortion: G-------------------------9- D-2-2-2/5-5-5/7-7-7/9-9-9-9- A-------------------------7- Repeat the chorus part again, the song ends on an open Low E.
