Band History
If you don't know the story of Pearl Jam coming together well then here is most of it In 1990 Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament were in a band known as Mother Love Bone. The lead singer Andrew Wood died of a heroin overdose right when the band was just taking off. So then that band broke up. Jeff and Stone were eager to start another band soon. They made a good rythym section but they needed a lead singer and a lead guitarist. They made a demo tape of themselves playing some songs and gave it to Jack Irons who was then the drummer for the Chili Peppers he gave the tape to Eddie Vedder who recorded his lyrics with the songs and sent the tape back to Stone and Jeff they liked what they heard and Eddie flew to Seattle. During that time they recruited a guy named Mike Mcready for lead guitarist and Pearl Jam was formed.
THE NEW PEARL JAM ALBUM
The new Pearl Jam album No Code is out and it is great. All the songs are great and full of flavor and it's not just the same old song's like most peoples albums they have changed and are still rocking hard they are getting better every album.
