T BAR BIO

Tommy Bryant was born in Richmond, Virginia. He started playing guitar in his eary teens. At age nineteen he landed a job as guitarist for national recording artists, "THE WHOLE DAMN FAMILY" on Amherst Records. He has played with several local Richmond acts, such as "THE STROKERS", "BIG CITY", "Li'l RONNIE and the BLUEBEATS", and most recently, "S.N.A.F.U." He has toured and opened for legends like JAMES BROWN, JOHNNY WINTER, JOHN MAYALL, and ALBERT COLLINS. Playing everything from Blues and Rock, to Jazz and Funk, he has developed a diverse and unique style of playing.

His latest project is a compilation of eleven original songs recorded over the last two years under the name "T BAR" and released on a self titled CD on Home Fry Records. From Blues and Rock, to Jazz, this CD truly shows his diversity and offers something for everyone. The CD features Wayne Peters (formally of "THE RHYTHM WRECKERS") on drums and percussion, and Charley Holliday (formally of "SMOKIN' SECTION") on bass, with Tommy playing all guitar parts.
