Welcome to Tanya's Soul Sweet website. This is a place where I can share with others music that is near and dear to my soul. I must reiterate, this website is a reflection of my musical tastes. It is by no means a definitive guide of Who's Who in Jazz. I mention this because I tend to listen to a lot of contemporary jazz, and there are those that aren't very receptive to the new stuff. When it comes to this point, I find it necessary to mention that every "new" form of jazz was criticized when it was introduced, particularly Bop and Fusion. I feel you can love the old and embrace the new.

In the past, I have been very bad about updating this website. But, now that I have finally escaped the clutches of college, I will have more time to devote to this website. Feel free to email me with constructive comments or suggestions. Lastly, I get a lot of questions about my graphics. Most of them I made or altered using Paint Shop Pro, but I get the backgrounds and some of the music graphics from Music Graphics Galore.
