The Democrats have been anti-working class since 1972 when the spoiled brat college educated liberal Hippies took the party from the working class.

Now they work with the Conservatives to ship all of our REAL jobs overseas.

But whenever they want our votes they promise a higher minimum wage.

What an insult!!! From 1945 until October 1973 the minimum wage was something for two types of Americans: Sixteen year olds on working-papers who wanted extra money to buy a car, and bored housewives whose husbands brought home enough money but the wives were bored at home and got jobs where other bored housewives worked just to meet friends.

Now these aging hippies think they are doing grown=ups who need enough to support a family a big favor by maybe raising the minimum wage to seven dollars. Which is now equal to 70 cents in 1950-1964 money!

Tell them to drop dead!

The $1.25 minimum wage of late 1963 to 1967 (when it became $1.40) was equal to $14.00 an hour in today's wages. And, as I said, it was only for kids and bored housewives. THAT'S why our country did not have all these horrible financial troubles. That's why our cities werent slums. That's why poor kids like I was, in an age of no college loans, could work our way through college. (These kids now get college loans but most of them still have to work- for this actual less than 70c minimum wage.
