TEAMCIPHeR. TEAMCIPHeR. import showoff (santa clara): Sunday, April 11th, 1998. There were dark ominous el nino-fied clouds in the skies on the morning of the Showoff, but that didn't stop over 10,000 racers and show enthusiasts from packin into the Santa Clara Convention Center to represent at the first-ever Northern Cali Import Showoff! It was better than I expected, probably cause we were expecting a Goodtimes Motorsports-type of a show. This event was pretty tight, especially cause we knew about 75% of the exhibitors in the show! Francis Barba's Starlet, Luis Barrion's blue Levin, and Carlo Bulan's yellow mango all represented TeamCIPHeR. at the event, and many of the SF-Region SCCA heads came thru to show their support. From TRD fanatics like Edgar Garrote to Mazda heads like Ricky Silverio and Tito De Jesus, all came thru to show off their tight cars and show people how the flips from the SFR SCCA do up cars! Japanese cars with Japanese performance parts, with some custom work and a little Filipino flav! In fact, both Ricky and Tito's Miatas won trophies in the Non-Honda class, despite the fierce competition! However, if you could see these Miata roadsters up close and in person, you'd know why! They are simply the best Miatas that were ever produced by anyone in the United States or Japan! hehe, NO I do not think that was a partial statement! heheh... alot of old skool to new skool racers came together to showoff their stuff, crews like TeamCIPHeR, Team Genesis (Fry's employees represent! haha), Z, Team Yossi (props on your graphics, Shaun-thanks for lettin me in the back door when I lost the exhibitor's passes!), Team Prodigy, Gridline (Francis's neighbors), N. Cali Team Kosoku, R-Version, Racing Evolution, and even the Creative Image dudes from Kragen. Alot more crews came thru to represent, but I can't think of em right now, and really don't feel like typing all that out anyways. Most of em were Civics, Integras and Eclipses anyways, what did you expect? Not only dope cars made it to the show, but dope GIRLS as well. The fresh fly Remix twins Jenn and Olivia came thru to hypnotize us with their dope looks, big...personalities, and a tongue ring?!?!? Tight. Tongue rings are a good time. Peeps were also jockin the hell out of the RPM girls at the MAS booth, and also Joanna at the RPM booth, and Laura aka. Chun Li in the chinese dress! I also caught quite a few heads peepin out Sierra and her fly friend Rina, as well as that "Ms. Import Showoff" chick, who I don't think is really all that, but she has a nice body kit and a nice set of _________. (rims) I also finally met Kim from TeamZiggy, who gets jocked up n down for the fly ass pictures of her from her dope webpage! Too bad you can't see the crazy tight and meticulous brushed aluminum interior panels!!! and the motor?
