LISTS

There are a few different kinds of lists. Two simple ones are:

Numbered lists: ol> and /ol>

Bulleted lists: ul> and /ul>

Each item in those lists must have a

  • before it. Putting an item in those lists makes it indented, and puts a number or bullet next to it.

    Numbered lists

    ol>
    li>First item
    li>Second item
    li>Third item
    /ol>
    1. First item 2. Second item 3. Third item

    Bulleted lists

    ul> li>First item li>Second item li>Third item /ul> First item
    Second item
    Third itemSEE EDITOR FORABOVE LIST INFO. DON'T FORGET FIRST TO REPLACE <

  • THIS CAN BE USED IF THE GIF IS IN YOUR FILES. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT THE WHOLE ADDY STARTING WITH http!!

    IMG SRC="PENGO.GIF"

    TWO SOUNDS-ONE AFTER THE OTHER

    back to back automatically: Title of Page Rest of codes and text 1. Use tag for the first audio you want to play and put that code after the tag as shown above. 2. Use the tag and the tag for the second audio you want to play----the same URL needs to go in both those areas---the tag is suppose to make it load faster----and put both codes within the and area of webpage. 3. Substitute a real number (in seconds) for # in the content="#   area --- for however long you want the first audio to play. Such as: Title of Page     Rest of codes and text

    TO PRELOAD NEXT PAGE

    MAKE SURE TO PUT FIRST CARAT "<" BACK ON EACH CODE

    (body background="url' bgcolor="white" text="navy">

    (BODY BGCOLOR="COLOR" TEXT="COLOR"> (img src="url">

    PUTTING TEXT OVER IMAGE

    Basically, just create a table and use the image as a background, and then put your text over the top, like so: (TABLE BACKGROUND="ur of image" HEIGHT="###' WIDTH="###"> (TR> Text you want on top of pic (/TD> (/TABLE> If you want to change the text often, this might be a better solution, but you are limited. Netscape doesn't see the background of a table at present, so using Image Magick is best if it is to be on the web for all to see.

    You can either make text clickable or an image clickable

    TEXT:

    (a href="url.html">TEXT HERE(/a>

    IMAGE:

    (a href="url.html"> (img src="image.gif"> (/a>

    (a href="https://members.tripod.com/~ter63/territoons2.html">NEXTPAGE(/a>

    SOUNDS!!

    (EMBED SRC="" WIDTH=146 HEIGHT=60 autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="true">

    (EMBED SRC="" AUTOSTART="TRUE">

    SOME USEFUL HTML

    BR=BREAK

    P=PARAGRAPH

    UL=PUSHES TO THE RIGHT

    ALIGN="RIGHT"=TO RIGHT

    CENTER=OBVIOUS

    BLOCKQUOTE=INDENTS WORDS IN BETWEEN IT(LIKE THIS LIST)

    Just substitute "url.html" for the URL of the page you want to go to. And substitute "image.gif" for your image filename. REPLACE ( --- -WITH- -- < ---

    CLICKABLE SO SOMEONE CAN EMAIL YOU

    E-mail links are links that allow viewers to e-mail you. Below is the code used for making a simple image link.

    Here is the code:

    (a href="mailto:youraddy@webtv.net">
    Clickable text or image code
    (/a>

    Here is an example and the code used:

    (a href="mailto:TER63@pmail.net"> FEEDBACK (/a>

    META TAGS

    (HEAD> (TITLE> TERRIS' COMEDY SHACK (META NAME="description" CONTENT="THINGS THAT ARE FUNNY. TO MAKE YOU LAUGH!"> (META NAME="keywords" CONTENT=" COMEDY, CARTOONS, JOKES, HUMOR"> (/HEAD> (BODY>

    MUSIC AND WAV TOGETHER!!!

    (embed src="your midi name.mid" autostart="true" volume="50"loop="infinite" width=16 height=16>

    You can also have background music AND a wav play at the same time.

    To do this, just add this code, with your stuff substituted, along with the above code:

    (embed src=yourwavname.wav autostart=true hidden=true>

    The picture on info screen!!
