    As you can tell, I'm an Indy car and Al Unser Jr. fan!! I've been watching Indy cars race, alot longer than Nascar. I was very disappointed when they changed everything around from before, strictly Indy car racing, to what it is now. They now have IRL and Cart. Growing up in Indiana, the Indianapolis 500 was always such a big event for me. But, since everything changed, I just don't get into it as much anymore. I still watch it, and like it, but without Al jr. it's just not the same!!

Well, no wins for Al this season, but he hung in there and will be back next season!!

Bobby Rahal, who retired November 1 after 17 seasons of racing, will be missed in the world of racing. He won 24 times, with 3 PPG championships, and was inducted into Cart's Championship Club!! Have a nice retirement, Bobby!!




Al finished strong in the Iroc race July 31 at the Brickyard in Indianapolis. This was the last race in the Iroc series. Jr. claimed 4th place in the championship!!
