Reasons?: Too much competition on original release date, or problems in post-production (something like that).    I noticed on your Erik site that you had some questions about Erik's role on The Princess Diaries, so I will answer some of them for you.  Yes, Erik's character Josh dates Mandy's character Lana in the movie.  Josh is best described as a superficial jock.  After Josh finds out that a geeky girl in his class is actually a real-life princess, he dumps Lana for the princess.  The princess eventually realizes that Josh is only dating her to get his picture in newspapers and on TV, so she dumps him.  That's pretty much it. More News updates from Eric, read below: Eric will be filming a miniseries about the Holocaust soon. It also is featuring LeeLee Sobieski.  Answer from Eric: Yes it is the movie 'Uprising'  with LeeLee, David Schimmer, Hank Azaria, Donald Sutherland, Sadie Frost, John Voigt, Carey Elways and more.  Its a true story about the polish uprising in the warsaw ghetto.  I  play a Jew who poses as an Aryan in order to smuggle weapons into the ghetto, where we are resisting the Nazi decree of concentration camps. It will be released in Mid-November for 2 nights on NBC.  It might also be released in theaters by  Warner Bros later.  internationally it will be released in theaters (so far, just not the USA). Eric is currently writing a film called "Hollywood Love Story" which he plans to direct. He doesn't necessarily want to star in it, though.  Eric's Answer: Hollywood Love Story is still in the works. Eric can be seen in the film The Beauty Loop, where he plays a college student. It's a romantic comedy, due out later this summer.  Eric's Answer: Beauty Loop: with James King (super model and pearl harbor), Minnie Driver, Vincent Kartheiser, and Zoe Dechanel (almost famous), was not completed due to production reasons and will not be released. Eric and Patrick worked on the script for a "So Weird" episode. Eric may even direct it!  Eric's Answer: Patrick and I did write an episode, but Disney didnt buy it.
