Bring Home The Stones

 

After receiving Planning permission for a new stadium at The Prince Edward Playing Fields the club is going all out to get the funds for the new development.A committee has been formed to oversee the fundraising , the committee consists off :

The task ahead of these people is HUGE ! Let us make sure we give them all the support we are able to give for the sake of the club. We need to raise £50,000 by July next year if everybody does their bit I can't see why it will not be achieved or even bettered.

So Far

Little Stanmore School has raised £300 towards the fund. The school held a sponsored penalty shoot-out.

The dinner organised by Paul Rumans has raised £4,832 towards the fund. Almost 10% of the money needed.

The bucket and tin collections that take place inside the ground have so far raised £200.

The Go Karting Event organised by Kipp managed to raise £555.

The Junior Stones managed to raise £550 for the campaign by doing a sponsored walk.

A quiz night run by Dave Albert has raised £320.

The sponsored walk to Leyton Pennant took place on 20/03/99 final figures are not in yet. approx £8,000

The Race nite organised by Fingers raised nearly £400 , not bad for the poor turnout !

The Video night raised £210

A football fun day has raised around £500, the winners were Cunningham Rovers.
