The place is filled out with recreation centers and many restaurants along a strip of 10 kilometers, that offer the visitor a variety of dishes, including the typical pachamanca. Cieneguilla has
the right weather and soil to grow vegetables, fruit trees and
beautiful flowers. Different varieties of bouganvilles grow
crowling up walls and hill slopes.
It is also the center of the famous "paso fino horses".
Because the valley is surrounded by mountains that keep
the humidity coming from Lima away, the climate is excellent.
