Welcome to the Furies page. The Furies is a 4 year old publication for the Kentuckiana ( and surrounding area ) Lesbian/Womyn. This web page is being created so that we can share our publication with Womyn everywhere, and we'd love to here back from you. Please bear with us as our page grows. If you have any comments or ideas for this page, or if you would like to send us any stories, poetry, information about your area please e-mail us or snail it to us, both addresses will be at the bottom. Please note if you would like it for consideration in the publication, the web site, or both. We look forward to hearing from our sisters everywhere.
A LESSON IN LIFE....

I want to tell you a very uplifting story, which is something we all need once in a while. It's a conversation that I felt was very enlightening. I title it " And A Child Shall Lead Them...." The title of this story was actually the sentiment in my mind as I sat munching pizza with my partner, our 6 year old, and her 12 year old cousin. Ashley is a very intelligent child with a heart and mind I wish more adults had. Not only does she know about our relationship, but approves. She has the aspirations to become President ( and the ability, I might add ), and promises that WHEN she does, she'll make sure that everyone has the freedom to marry. To her, it doesn't matter "what you are, or who you are, all that matters is that if you love someone you should be able to marry them." I congratulate her for the ability to be such an open-minded and wonderful person, and I greatly respect her parents for giving her and her brother and sister the ability to grow into open-minded and caring individuals. And a child shall lead them....
