Welcome to the Current Happenings In the Five Kingdoms!  This page of the Web Site is designed to better help your character understand of whats going on around him/her, as newspaper if you will.

Moon 3, 353NW:  Jade's Inn Established.  People of Narrowden are now able to get a decent meal and a decent pint around the place!

Moon 4, 353NW:  Blood Castle has begun it's attacks on Narrowden.  Towns citizens were able to fend them off for the time being.

Moon 5, 353NW:  Mage's Guild has now been Established.  Also, Shard the Nymphen Elf is appointed Baron by Brightblade.

Moon 6, 353NW:  Another attack from blood castle had been made, and Sabin Remson, Lancer and General of the Narrowden Armies had been slain and captured.  The town's citizens, including that of Shard and King Brightblade, had come to his rescue launching a surprise attack on the fronts, and a Sneak attack on the rear.  Blood Castle, unexpectedly was withdrawn and the Citizens had gotten Sabin Remson back and revived him.  The citizens had finally done a true heroic deed.

Moon 7, 353NW:  Many townsmembers have been upset and distrught towards Brightblades disappearings.  No one has seen him, nor heard from him.  Some townsmembers have left, others, have betrayed him.  What to do, without a leader?  Shard is filling in and taking charge, and Sabin is doing all he can for Narrowdens Armies moral, but no one is quite sure what will become of the once great kingdom. On other more political notes,Buddah has been granted town constable.

Moon 8, 353NW:  Brightblade, Duke of the land, has returned after a two month mysteriouse disappearing in the kingdom of Narrowden, though still does not enforce even his own laws, leaving the town to fend for themselves.  Buddah the former town constable has now handed down his position to a fellow warrior by the name of Drifter.  Meanwhile in other news, Sabin Remson, General of Brightblades armies, and Shard, the Water Caster and Baron of the land had placed Hank the Half-Giant and Cheech the Orc of Narkon, under arrest.  The two refused and teleported, though it was reported that not only the town constable, the general, and the baron had gone after them, but Shard had took some townsmen with him also.  Afterwards, it was later reported that Hank had been anihilated, while the orc had barely gotten away.  There is now a 1,000 G.P. reward for Cheech's death.  It was also mentioned that Drifter and Sabin had reported that there were boats being made on the shores of Narkon, where Cheech was last seen.  For once, in a great while, peace has finally glistened over the town of Narrowden, though the town fears the worst of Narkon, for it seems that spiredeth is their next target...

Moon 9, 353NW:  It seems this moon as if the town of Narrowden has finally been cleaned up.  People are rejoicing due to the Recent slaying of Vipris himself.  As always, the Baron, Shard, and the General of the Narrowden Armies, Sabin, had led the attack on Vipris' castle.  But for once, the townsmen had finally decided to work together as a group instead of only thinking for themselves.
Some of the townsmen include, Drifter the Town Constable, and Sneider whom are now affiliates with the warriors guild of narrowden, Avildar, Member of the Mages Guild, and the rest of the townsmen, Oberon, Trip, Chong, and other recent newcomers as well.  Not only that, the Renegade Orc known as Cheech has also been caught and slain as well as executed.  The Orc had come in to town willingly, but for some reason there was rumored to be a meeting of talking between the General and him.  Unfourtunately, they could not work something out and Shard had aphrehended the Orc himself.  Sabin, after chasing for the maul, had now gotten it and claimed the reward, for cheech's body had been burnt to Ashes, as they did not have proof of the kill.  On other notes, there is now a headhunt for a townsmen, due to the fact of recent news, Avildar, Light Caster of the Mages Guild of Narrowden, had recently been found by the Executioner. Now also a renegade and wanted townsmen, but not before he had found the spiritless caster and returned him to the payman to find him.  Avildar, after being slowly but surely brought back to life by an unknown power, had then come back to town with the men that looked for him and reported on whom did this to him.  Now, walking on a gimp, and NO hand, the Caster has reported that Gorrick had slain him.  Executioner had given the paymen the caster in a body bag when they found him.  So, now that the mage is back, there is certainty on whom has also been causing ruckus within the town.  There will be a hefty reward on whomever can bring back the head of Gorrick himself.  Of course, if you even find him, you will get money.  On Other news, Brightblade has begun to show up around town a bit more.  He has even protected the town, even though the man called Executioner only attacked him.  Still though, the duke only cares for himself, and still has not contributed any money or attention to the town or castle itself.  Will the pain ever stop, or will it keep on until no one is left alive?  The said 300 ships going from Narkon to Spiredeth, especially Narrowden, seemed to not even gander at the dukes attention, meanwhile just going about his day.  It was his General Sabin Remson of the Narrowden armies that had intently vanquished the boats.  But how did the boats just vanish?  Sabin says quote "Some friends owed me a favor, thats all".  Some inspectors of the sea had reported that there was MAJOR DEBRIS of where the boats were last seen.  No one really knows for sure how the boats were taken care of, but what the people of Narrowden DO know is that finally, the town of Narrowden is a safe place to live.  There is Bounties now placed upon the head of:  Delilah, Gorrick, Chong, Trip and Executioner.  If you request further details please consult the bounty hunter's guild.  And yes, Narrowden is now a safe place to live, for a little while.

MOON 10, 353NW:  *NOTE: This is now the Beregost newspaper*- This moon, many townsmen have been moving to the great city of Beregost in the Famenchi Region.  We had a scout go to Narrowden to find out why so many people were going to Beregost.  The scout later reported that half of Narrowden's armies were on their way as well as a bunchful of townsmen, including the former known Sabin Remson, whom has not been seen recently at this time.  We later then were able to find out why all the townsmen were moving away from Narrowden.  We found out from one of the other former townsmen that the Duke of the region known as Timothy Brightblade had been quite abusive and rude to the townsfolk.  All of the people in the town were reported to have been 'living like barbarians' a fiery caster put it.  There was no choice for the people of Narrowden, due to even the fact that they had to gather their own money to put up their own wall around HIS region.  So, where was all the money going? 'Right in his pocket!' a stout and sturdy Dwarf put it.  So, was the Duke just AWOL, or was he really keeping all the supposed money for himself?  No one knows, but rumor has it the CONTINENTS ARMY might be dealing with the town first hand...

MOON 11, 353NW:  This moon there were quite a few undead scurrying about the famenchi region.  Unfourtunately the Necromancer that had been leading the waves of attack had escaped and gotten away.  Meanwhile back at Beregost there has been a new guild granted by the King himself.  They are known as the Sith guild, yet no one knows of their purpose quite yet.  The head of the guild is a dark-elf known as Revan Malaki.  The guild is open to all citizens and is taking recruits as of now.  Meanwhile in other news Sabin Remson has been granted Constable of the town of Beregost.  He has also been granted as General of the Armies of the Famenchi region, which is said to have ten times the amount of troops Narrowden had.  Also Famenchi's Scouts reported that the Continent's ARMY of Spiredeth itself is on it's way to Narrowden.  We do not know the reason yet but will find out soon.

MOON 12, 353NW:  This moon was not of the best moons to remember.   Many Townsmen had died at the hands of the barabrian duo Slice and Dice.  Had the townsmen not been hasty, they might have made a better sense of themselves and given some consideration.  There was a 30,000 GP Reward for the head of both of them, Donan had shot them down and claimed the reward.  Sabin Remson has been out of the glory recently, and is for some reason recently even avoiding the town itself.  What business this is, we do not know.  The King has now decided, well, absolutely nothing... hopefully within the next few moons things will begin to clear up, for the king's sake too.  The Warrior's Guild and the Sith Guild are no more, and rumor has it that the guilds are currently in the middle of merging into one called the Adventurer's Guild.  The Undead scurrying have dwendled down yet their leader is still intact.  Recent Scout reportings have shown blood castle is now somewhat neutral, and for how long no one can tell.  The noble party of the Famenchi region have decided not to promote anyone and for some reason have not discussed such matters as well as others for their towns in a long while.  Is the Royal Family hiding something, or is it the economy itself?  The Mage's Guild still is looking for a true canidate for archon, yet Zandar the Elven Brewer keeps a watchful eye on the structure itself.  A local peasant has also reported that he had found the bodies of a party of orcs.  If anyone knows of the ordeal please contact the proper authorities.  As the townsmen Dwindles, so do the heroes for it.  Only a selected few, Red 41, Sabin Remson, Sneider, Zandar, Jade Valcor, Tidy Tilken, and Valkarie still roam the towns insides yet, more townsmen have died in two months than any other time.  Will the town pull through, or will it crumble trying?

Moon 13, 353NW:  A twist of strangeness has come upon the town of Beregost.  Beastmen from an unknown region, probably Narkon, had taken a nearby town Lachenguard and tried to burn down Jade's INN in Beregost.  Luckily, Valad and Aust(which are brothers), Red41 and Larechian had defended the town and put out the flames just in time.  Rumor has it they then went after the beastmen in the attack to take back Lachenguard.  To a many surprised, they succeeded and took what was rightfully theirs, and even Zandar the elven brewer was in the battle, angered about the INN and slaying the leader of the beastmen tribe.  Also, rumor has it that the Duke of Famenchi will now be visiting town Beregost to talk to the foursome personally on the matter.  Scouts have reported Sabin Remson's Airship had been leaving the region and going into narrowden towards not narrowden castle, but blood castle.  Scouts also reported there to be Siris Hayden, Revan Malakie, and Red41 with him on the way to the castle, coming back a short time later.  Also in other news, Sabin Remson has now made Revan Malakie and Siris Hayden town Wardens and also Captains of the Famenchi Army.  We questioned Sabin's recent actions and actually got a chance to talk to him personally.  All he said was that they had saved his life and they were truthful to eachother.  Is the mighty General being too Hasty, or is it something more deep than one can imagine?

Moon 1, 354 NW:  A familiar threat that had once come upon Narrowden, had now come upon Beregost in the region of Famenchi.  An assasin was found upon stating his allegiance to none other than Zero himself.  at an attempt to kill off the whole town it was though as it seemed that this man was ready to die.  The scout reportings of the cloud were quite accurate as well as reporting that the townsmen including Zandar the elven brewer, Siris Hayden Irenicus, Sabin Remson, Falon, Revan Malakie, Aust and Valad, Tidy Tilken, and some other townsmen who have just recently come into the town.  A raid was upon the town with no warning and killing 3 townsmen.  The townsmen were later raised.  But what raises the though even more is if the town is paying taxes why wasn't there any warnings from the post?  Or is there a post?  Where is the money going?  More and more questions are being asked yet no one can answer them.  With the town slowly but surely beginning to rubble down, the people might have no choice but to seek freedom otherwise...

Moon 2, 354NW:
Scouts have reported that Sabin Remson had made a pure insult upon the king himself, and was arrested by guards to have been retained until coming to his senses.  Failing not to comply, Siris Hayden Irenicus had busted him out of jail and they are now both wanted for a hefty reward, DEAD OR ALIVE.

Moon 3, 354NW:  Coming to the traitors' senses, the wanted pair, Sabin and Siris finally turned themselves in for collateral of losing their houses, weapons, bank accounts, and anything else the king so desired.  They will also recieve ten lashings each next moon in public at Beregost.  The two were also kicked out of the kingdom's army and considered a disgrace upon the kingdom of famenchi.  As there was much chaos in the town of Beregost, the king showed up himself to pay a visit and straighten things out.  Some unloyal townsmen were killed, and others as well as the town itself were set back into order.

Moon 4, 354NW Pre-siting:  With the town back into set order things are finally getting back to normal.  The lashings being taken next moon by the traitors will be somewhat entertaining...
