(tease)-> Dancin' With a Stranger-> Free Your Mind Refrain _____________________________ Like I said yesterday, I'm still learning the ins and outs of P-Funk shows, so there might be errors in my setlist. So don't get too excited if you see something that hasn't ever been played or not played in years. It might be wrong! But for the most part, it's a fairly accurate summary of the songs played on the second night in New Orleans. During Dog Star, a woman to the side of the stage, unseen by most of the crowd, was, well, let's just say she was giving herself pleasures. McKnight was rippin' it up and she's over there making sure her inseam wasn't coming unraveled, if you know what I mean. And in rhythm to the band, no less. For the most part, she stayed off to the side of the stage, but then I guess she couldn't restrain herself and came out to the lip of the stage, stage left in front of keyboards parallel with the front of the stage, and started gettin' it on for the everybody to see. A couple of guys in the front row started doing a little mock masturbation with a water bottle in front of her while she did her thing. About that time, I was glad that Funk ain't no sin, cause it was getting raunchy in there. Of course, the Atomic Dog romp with about thirty of NO's finest ladies was pure debauchery also. Nothin' but booties shaking and hips swaying, it was the most fun I've ever had at a concert. Oh yeah, the music was cool too.;-) Mike Hampton and DeWayne McKnight are players! They are some hard rockin' guitarists and I don't know how I went over 25 years without hearing about them. Better late than never, though. Now I've got to find a way to get back to NO for the shows in May. uncajohn
