UPDATE!!!: Well, Yahoo/Geocities and I got into an altercation. Unfortunately,
I lost. I have been fighting with them for some time now to get my homepage
on their site back. (Apparently, I didn't update anything on it for about a
month, and they deleted everything and gave the address away.) Finally, this
week, they gave me their ultimate answer: I can go fly a kite. So, I'm moving
the webring to Tripod. This is out of protest against Geocities, and that I
have had a page on Tripod for some time, that hasn't been updated in about six
months, and hasn't been deleted yet. (Luckily, I had backups of everything deleted.)
So, what does this mean? Unfortunately, it means that everyone, both current
ring members and those who have not fulfilled the requirements yet, must alter
their HTML fragments to compensate. I've emailed all of them, so hopefully,
within the next few weeks, things will get back to normal.
Requirements to Join:
1. You must have an active internet page concerning Knight Rider, or some
aspect of it; it must have some ORIGINAL material, either text or graphics,
that make it worthwhile for a KR fan to visit.
2. The page must have NO OFFENSIVE MATERIAL (as determined by me).
3. Perform the steps in the next section.
4. Get your page approved by me (only a formality; I don't want someone without a KR page to
join the ring, obviously).
How To Join:
IMPORTANT: PLEASE follow the directions below, EXACTLY. They are VERY important,
as without them, the Webring does not work (and that sort of defeats the purpose
of putting your site on the ring, doesn't it). Thanks!
1. Fill out the form below and get immediately entered into the "Queue" (sort of like a waiting room); you will
immediately get email confirming this, along with your webring ID and Password
2. Download one of the webring imagemap/html-coding sets (your choice) below, and integrate them into the
opening page of your Knight Rider Home Page (try and make it prominent on the page, to allow easy access;
also try to do it within a day or so, as I must check to see it is up and running before we go any further).
NOTE: Most of the links won't work until the ring has gone public.
3. Wait for me to enter you into the ring (I'm online alot, so it shouldn't take long)
4. That's it! Get started below!

Graphics For Your Page:
Choose any one of the graphics below. Click on the link below the graphic
to get the imagemap html-coding you need. When you import the html-coding,
make sure to change the "site_ID_here" in the links with the site
ID number you own (ex - 1, 2, etc.). If you are unsure what that number is,
check your queue addition email. The first one actually works, to show you
how they will work. There is no need to save the graphic itself, as it is
called upon from the webring account's copy; this saves you space on your
account, and you can't lose it, either.
EXAMPLE: You will be emailed automatically when you sign up. Go to that
email message and get your site ID number, say 17 (this is probably not
your number, so go check your email). Download the html-coding you want, and
replace site_ID_here with your number. Then put the html on your page.
