Gypsy/Klezmer/Eastern European 7-piece. Absolutely my heroes. They are the perfect band; they have a "perfect" sound. Three indispensable, life-altering CD's to date. Sadly, they have no official web-site, but follow this quote from their leader, to a very nice page about them... "We don't want to dilute gypsy music, but by the same token, we don't want to fall into weepy cliches of gypsy and klezmer music. So we adapt a tune, and if need be, we try to make it a little more emotive. There's no rigidness in the band. We don't compose music. We're just adapting traditional tunes, and all six of us sit down and do the arrangements..."
