EDENITE HISTORY

Edenite history stretches back tens of millions of years. To preserve some of their traditions, not only have they evolved complex songs and epics, but inscribed them on mountains, so in a hundred thousand years, later generations can see it. Each tribe has its own traditions. The Lightiril tribe (the first tribe to have contact with humans) includes this among its major figures of history/legend. The pivotal figure and founder of the tribe was Hamabra the Pactmaker, who "talked with the cosmos". His son, Koneee, was "swallowed by the universe"...mysteriously disappeared. The Lightirils were enslaved by the Ropho tribe for several thousand years, until freed by Sesmon the Wonder-Worker. After wandering for centuries, settled in present hunting grounds. Chief rivals locally are the giant (comparitively) Tinisfil tribe. Ahon the sailor was another great chieftain of their past.
