Wal Langand, Elvish Isle, is the property of the elves, and any mortals exist there as their guests. Most of the isle is deep forest, where the only sunlight that reaches it is through filtered leaves. On the west coast there is a human city, there for trade, which is there at Jequeror's (the Elvenking's) permission, but only there because Jequeror allows it. Ober Hedunin, the Mage's College, is also there only because Jequeror has granted them license for it. All wizards and sorceresses come here for training, without exception.
