A native of Little Rock, Arkansas. My father was born on August 31, 1922. An electronic engineer for over 50 years, he had retired from T C I in Mountain View, California. He installed electronics in the Gimini and Apollo space crafts while working for Lockheed in California. He was very proud to have worked on the both Voyagers 1 & 2 that went into space in 1977. He also worked for Delmo Victor, and helped to develope the night scope that is used by the military today. He was an Army Veteran of World War II in the Army Corps of Engineers, and was stationed in France.

Many times my father told me about his time spent in France during the war. I decided one year to put his memories on film from the pictures he had taken during the war, and of his family life during that period. I am so glad that I did now. Many times my father would view the movie and show it to his friends. He was a very sentimental man, and it would bring tears to his eyes.

My father definitely would be what some would call a man's man. He hunted, fished, and was a great pool player. He also was a great golfer, and had won many tournaments. He learned to golf when he was a teenager, and would caddy at a local country club near his home in Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn, and three daughters.. Anita, Jo Ann, and Donna. He had five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

He expected the best from his children and family. We all loved him dearly. He will truly be missed by all...

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.

So he put His arms around you and whispered, "Come with me."

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and watched you fade away,

Although we loved you dearly; We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working and hard to bear,

The thought of loosing a father and the memories we shared.

It's lonely here without you, We miss you more each day,

Life doesn't seem the same, since you went away.

When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong,

We seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on."

Each time we see your picture, You seem to smile and say,

"Don't cry, I'm in God's hands, we'll meet again someday!"

I Love You Daddy...Donna
