This page is a companion to my 2001 Wishon-Portal Photo Essay, from the North Fork of the Kings River, in the John Muir WIlderness and Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park.

My 2001 Wishon-Portal Photo Essay emphasizes scenery and people. This photo essay features flowers and plants. The big point here is that I really don't have identification of the plants featured in these images! This is where you come in (especially my trip companions!) ... if you know, please send me an email message identifying a particular plant.
