Frontier Ministries is being established as a resource for/affiliation list of ministries who share a confidence in our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. And in the ESSENTIALS of Christian doctrine.

Unlike the disciples/apostles who did not quite understand Jesus at the time of Mark 9:38-41, we today have the fullness of the gospel revealed. And yet stories prevail everywhere of Christians and churches that agree on the essentials and are still unwilling to offer a hand of fellowship or cup of water to a brother, because of a few issues of lesser importance; or because of the church he calls home. In some instances it almost seems that churches are 'competing' with each other rather than contending together for the gospel and the lives of the lost.

Though at first view Frontier Ministries might seem to be ecumenically minded, we are not willing to participate in any movement that seeks unity above and before an unwavering stand for the Truth and essentials of the Christian faith. Only 'balanced' ministries who agree upon the essentials of Christian doctrine, and who do not allow the non-essentials to prevent them from extending a hand of fellowship or from offering drink of water to someone of another ministry background will be 'affiliated'.

What is to be gained from 'affiliation' with Frontier Ministries? Essentially, an opportunity to be of service in the Kingdom of God. Pastors and lay persons are constantly relocating within the US, and often times there are few if any 'saints' that these folks can turn to for encouragement, etc. within their new communities. Ministries that indicate an interest in being a Frontier 'affiliate' indicate that they would like to be an available source of contact in their community. Frontier 'affiliates' might represent anything from a friendly voice and ear, to prayer partners for the community, to a fellow minister that is willing to share information to assist a new ministry in being established.
