Here is a letter from an anti who somehow got my address and decided
to comment on my website. Take a look!

Dear Tim,

I read your note on the internet, that you would like to add
your new web site address.

I am writing you this letter because i am sad to hear that
you are a trapper and so young to be killing without a consience.
There is so much violence in our world. It hurts to realize that you
don't know to respect other living beings. Animals were not put on
the earth for humans to kill, use or abuse. Animals suffer and feel
pain just humans. We are all gods creatures, big and small, we were
put here to be responsible for all living things.

I would like to share with you what goes into the making of a
fur coat. First 55 mink are trapped and killed. Steel leghold traps
ensnare wild animals and keep them in painful vices until the
trapper returns to shoot, strangle or bludgeon them to death.
Approximatley 2 non target animals are caught for every one
furbearing animal. These non target animals include squirrels,
possums, dogs, cats and even endangered species. You must have heard
about the terrifying stories of dogs that died in traps in New York?

A trapper may stand on the chest of an animal to suffocate it
after it spent several agonizing days in a leg hold trap. Many times
an animal will die of starvation, hypothermia, dehydration or
attacked by predators befopre the trapper returns.

Terrified, they may even chew off their own foot. Many animals
will chew off their own legs in a desperate attempt for escape. This
is especially common is raccoons. A 1980 study found that as many as
1 in 4 raccoons will chew off its own leg to escape.

Don't throw lives away for a status symbol. Life is far to
precious to represent fortune and greed.

As a member of the future generation, you can be an example on
how to be more compassionate toward other living beings. Every action
we do to improve other living beings lives can make a difference.
Please stop the killing!

Sincerely,
Rose Reina-Rosenbaum
