BLACKBURN, Alfred (Albert). Born circa 1868 in Leeds, married to Amy Walker December quarter 1890 in Leeds. Albert was a motor car driver and it is believed he died circa 1925.


Children of Albert Blackburn and Amy Walker:-

BLACKBURN, Sarah Ann (Sally). Born 1886 in Leeds, married to a Mr. Haley. Date and location of marriage unknown, however we do know it was prior to December 1924 when Sarah Ann was a witness to her sister Ada's wedding and signed as Sarah A. Haley. Sarah & Mr. Haley had one child we are aware of, Tom born 1910.

BLACKBURN, Minnie. Born circa 1893 in Leeds, married John W. Clark, 3rd quarter 1918 in Leeds, they are believed to have had three or four children. Minnie died 3rd quarter 1937 in Leeds. John W. was born circa 1882 in Leeds and died 4th quarter 1930 in Leeds.

Ada Blackburn

BLACKBURN, Ada. Born 6 September 1897 in Leeds, married George Brown 27 December 1924 at Saint Matthew's Church, Chester Road, Stretford, Manchester. Curate was Evan Thomas and the witnesses were John Thomas Temple and Sarah Ann Haley (Ada's sister). Ada and George lived in Romford before moving to 1014 Tenth Street, Trafford Park, Manchester. They had three children, Ada died 24 October 1968 and is buried with her husband at Stretford Cemetery.
