Secure cone to base of pot by placing florist gum to the bottom of the cone, and pressing it tightly into the pot. Cuttings should be app.. 3 to 4 inches long, trim off long branch ends first. Tie app.. 4 cuttings together into bunches, wrap one florist pick in with the cuttings, secure with wire wrapped app.. 1/4 inch from bottom. You will need 35 to 40 bunches. Starting at the top of the cone, push in florist pick and cuttings at a slight upwards angle sticking out. Repeat. Once you reach about one quarter of the way down, start cuttings facing downwards towards the base, sticking out. Continue downward to the bottom of the cone. Go back over and fill in the bald spots. Once finished, wrap ribbon around the tree, spiraling from top to bottom. Miniature twinkle lights powered by battery will look lovely. Keep green florist cone damp.
