Tumbleweed Shoppes: Describe a typical day in your business.

Canyon River: Our typical day would be to come in and start making soap for our craft shows, wholesale retailers, and internet orders. We generally make about 10 loafs at a time depending on the time of the year.

Tumbleweed Shoppes: What is your best selling soap bar?

Canyon River: Our most popular bar right now is Citrus which we call "Sunshine" ! If you love citrus scents, this handmade soap is sure to delight. With a tropical citrus blend of oranges, lemons, pineapple and more, our Citrus is a favorite with the whole family.

Tumbleweed Shoppes: What kinds of ingredients do you put into your soaps?

Canyon River: Every body bar contains shea butter, a natural, healing moisturizer. Our soaps are very lathering, fragrant, and long lasting. As for the actual ingredients: Saponified Oils of Coconut, Palm, Olive, Hazelnut, Soybean, Sweet Almond, Fragrance Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, and Oxide Coloring. Also, our soaps contain no animal fats, artificial dyes, pigments, petroleum products or chemicals with unpronounceable names. Our soaps are made with olive oil, coconut oil, pure essential oils, and/or fragrance oils, herbs and spices.

Tumbleweed Shoppes: What advice would you give to any newcomer that is looking to take the plunge and start an online business?

Canyon River: We would say "go for it"!! We only have one life to live!.
