Mario64 Yoshi: if you get all 120 stars and then go back outside of the castle, you will find that the gate in in the ground outside the castle is open. you can use it to get on top of the castle to see Yoshi and get some extra men (even though you beat the game).
Control the Ending Camera: during the ending sequence after you beat Bowser, you can control the camera if you have a second controller plugged in. Using controller two's analog control stick, you can move the camera in many different ways during the sequence with the Princess and during the tour of levels!
Mirror Tracks: if you get gold cups in all the tracks in 150cc, you will be given a new option in some modes (like in racing against the computer, in VS mode, etc.) to race on mirror tracks. they are basically mirror images of the original tracks, not reverse, they're mirror.
Wario Stadium Shortcut: in Wario stadium, right at the beggining, there are 4 0r 5 bumps an a wall to the left that can be jumped to cut off about half the track! all you have to do is get some speed (not turbo speed or mushrooms) and kind of go up the hill at an angle towards the wall on the left of the track. at the very last second, simply jump with the R button and you can make it over the wall. it is easiest with the small characters like Yoshi, Toad, etc., but can be done with anyone. takes a little practice.
Turbo Boost: if you hit the gas button right after the second light fades away and hold that gas button, you can get a turbo boost off the start line.
Course Ghosts: there are three course ghosts; one in Luigi's Raceway, one in Royal Raceway, and the other in Mario's Raceway. Each are accest in the same general way. you go to any of those three courses and complete the course with a really really fast time. for instance, in Luigi's Raceway, you have to beat it in under 1 minute 52 seconds. i can't remember Mario's Raceway and Royal Raceway off the top of my head, but just do it really, really fast. if you do this in any of those courses, a ghost for that track will appear the next time you race that course. not your ghost, but the "course ghost". he's pretty fast in all three cases. he's basically just for fun and you don't get anything special for beating him.
Compare Your Best Times: These are some our (me and my friends from work) best times. These times are for the WHOLE RACE (ALL 3 LAPS). These are all true, you should know if you ever read the info on my page, that I don's lie! And, YES, of course they are using short cuts, duh!
Wario Stadium: 22 Seconds!!
Rainbow Road: 1 Minute, 3 Seconds
Mario's Raceway: 1 Minute, 28 Seconds!
DK's Jungle Parkway: 54 Seconds!!
Mortal Kombat Trilogy Two extra option menus: On the MKT story line screen, quickly hit Block, HK, LK, Run, LP. HP, HP, HP, LP, LP. You will hear Shao Kaun say "outstanding if you do it correctly and quickly enough. You have to do this code with default button setup, and not using L and R for block and run (use the yellow "C" buttons).
Stage Select: On the character select screen, highlight Sonya, hold UP, and hit START. You will hear an explosion and then you can choose your character. Next you will be able to select the stage you'd like to start on.
Extra hard endurance match: On the character select screen, highlight Kano, hold DOWN, and hit START. You will hear an explosion and then you can choose your character. This is the hardest level of the game and if you beat it, you can choose the last box when you beat the game from Shoa kaun's treasures. It gives you some codes for the game.
Unlimited Continues: On the story line screen, press Down, Down, Up, Up, Right, Right, Left, Left.
Play as Human Smoke: Choose the Robot Smoke and hold Back, High Punch, High Kick, Block and Run before the match begins.
Play as Motaro: Choose any character, and then hold Back, High Kick, and Low Kick before the match begins. This will only work on Jade's desert or the Wasteland stages.
Play as Shoa Kahn: Choose any character, and then hold Down, High Punch, and Low Punch before the match begins. This will only work on the Kave, Pit 3, and the Rooftop stages.
Play Pong: Win 50 matches in a row.
Play Galaxia: Win 100 matches in a row.
Ultimate Kombat Entry Screen: To quickly get to the screen where you enter the ultimate kombat code (which no one has figured out yet), on the story line screen, rotate the controller in a clockwise circle very quickly with the analog stick (joystick).
Fight against Khameleon: On the Star Bridge stage, hit Down and Start when you see the "toasty" guy appear in the bottom right corner.
NBA Hang Time Change Rodman's Hair Color: while at the screen where you pick your team, go to the Chicago Bulls and press the PASS button to change Dennis Rodman's hair to different colors.
Player Duplicates: to access a duplicate, just enter their last name and "0000" for the PIN number. For example, enter Pippen as your name and 0000 as your PIN to access the duplicate.
