Western Ghost Town in Conway

In the 1950s and 1960s this must have been a grand place to see on U.S. 25 in Conway, KY, located in Rockcastle County. It was a thriving little miniature western town-themed tourist trap, with a blacksmith shop, old general store, saloon, horse stables, etc.

Not sure exactly when the western theme park was abandoned. Somewhere in the late 1960s/early 1970s, I believe. The main front building was modified into an antique store (Robby's Anteks - their spelling) and everything else was allowed to fall into disrepair. The lady who runs the place is getting in on years now and we worry what will happen once she passes on. We'd love to see the place restored to its full resplendence.

Robby's Anteks is right around the bend from the Rockcastle-Madison County line when you're going South. Headed North, it's about 10 minutes drive from Renfro Valley.
