Milky Way What? Part 1

        "Hey Mina!" yelled a voice from around the bend. "Serena, what 
are you doing here?" asked Mina. The two girls were happy for it was 
finally summer. " I'm suppose to meet Darien here. I haven't seen him 
have you?" Mina shook her head. "Maybe something's holding him up. He 
isn't usually late." Serena, hopeful with the new suggestion went back 
to the rose garden to see if her prince had come yet. "Hey Meatball head!" 
Serena ran into the familiar arms of Darien. "What took you so long? Your
fifteen minutes late!" Darien apologized for his tardiness and explained 
that his car was acting up. "You wanna go to the arcade? I hear they've 
updated the Sailor V game." Serena eagerly agreed. Sailor V was a favorite
game of hers. Mina modeled for it and only her and the Scouts knew that V 
stood for Venus. She remember a year ago when she discovered she was a 
sailor scout. So much had happened since then. She was Sailor Moon and 
her closest friends were also scouts. There was Raye, Sailor Mars, they 
always argued but she was still there to keep Serena up and push her to
do her best. Next there was Amy, Sailor Mercury, she was intelligent and 
was always studying. Serena was always trying to get her to "lighten up 
and have fun." Amy wanted to be a to be a doctor and the scouts were sure 
she would be able to be one. Then comes Lita, Sailor Jupiter. Lita is 
strong and independent. She has been a great friend to all the scouts and 
is totally boy crazy. She enjoys things to be tidy but knows how to have 
fun. Mina, Sailor Venus, is the sailor of love. She models for her game 
but her parents don't know that she really is Sailor Venus. She is kind 
and loving. Mina is totally boy crazy and is always on the look out for 
cute guys. Darien is the Prince of Earth and Tuxedo Mask. He and Serena 
have been in love for awhile. They fell in love in their former lives on 
the Moon, during the Silver Millennium. In this life they just recently 
rediscovered their love and are now a solid couple. Darien is completely 
infatuated with Serena and loves her kindness and innocence. Serena is 
Sailor Moon and the Moon Princess. She loves Darian with all her heart. 
She is a klutz but Darien is always there to catch her when she falls.
She wears her heart on her sleeve and her feelings can easily hurt by her 
friends. Don't let this gentle girl trick you though she is tough and a 
true fighter against evil. She has been through a lot and she has learned 
a lot from her encounters with the Negaverse. The Negaverse is an evil 
place where most of there problems come from. The scouts fight the demons 
that are sent to Earth.
        As Serena and Darien approach the arcade she snaps out of her 
memories. "You there Serena?" asks Darien. "Yeah just thinking." They 
entered the arcade and raced towards the Sailor V game. Serena beats 
Darien. "Hey Meatball Head, when did you get so fast?" Darien teased. 
"Don't called me Meatball Head, my name is Serena!" she threw back and
on started the same teasing they always have. As Serena gets into the 
game she is about to beat her record when she hears something. 
"Auuuggggghhhh!!!! Almost!!" Screams Serena. Then she here's the noise 
again. She checks her communicator. "Serena you need to get to the park,
quickly. Something's is wrong!" with that message from her cat Luna she 
and Darien are flying out the door. On the way they find a place where no 
one is watching and Serena yells out "Moon Prism Power!" As soon as she is
Sailor Moon she races to help the others.
        "I am Sailor Moon, Champion of justice. I defend the love and 
justice and in the name of the Moon, I will parish all evil and that means
you! In the name of the Moon I punish you!" She saw a large monster 
attacking her friends. He threw Mercury across the sidewalk. "No one hurts
my friends and gets away with it! Moon Tiara Magic!" She tosses the head 
piece and hits the monster on the arm. Now it is giving all of its 
attention to Sailor Moon. "Jupiter Thunder Crash!" yelled Sailor Jupiter. 
The monster soon found that he was surrounded and was extremely confused. 
"Ice freeze circle!" the monster shrieks. Sailor Moon and Mars are hit but
the others dodged. "How dare you harm a person who is more beautiful than a 
rose. More beautiful than you will ever be!" yelled Tuxedo Mask and he 
threw a rose at the monster. "Now Sailor Moon!" Sailor Moon takes all of 
her mite to stand. "Moon Scepter Elimination!" She aims and hits the
monster right in the chest. The monster changes colors and turns to dust. 
"What was that?" The scouts all look to Amy. "My computer shows that it 
was after energy and that it was from the Negaverse." They all look at Amy
and yell "Duh!!!" Mina said, "Let's worry about it later." They all agree
and head out. Darien and Serena go home to get ready for their date.
        An hour later Darien was at Serena's. Hey Darien!!" Serena was 
dressed in a purple floral mini skirt and a white blouse. Darien's eyes 
almost popped out of his head. "You look beautiful." Serena was pleased 
that he liked her out fit. She just got it for their date. Serena looked 
around Darien. "Where's your car?" Darien blushed. "I told you it was 
having problems. I had to take it to the garage. That car belongs to a 
friend." Serena takes a better look at the car. It was an old Cadillac. It
would be nice if someone would fix it up. Serena tried not to smile but the 
thought of that car running was too humorous so she had to stifle a giggle.
"What's so funny?" Serena burst out laughing. "That car actually runs 
better than yours?" Darien looked hurt. "Oh, I'm sorry Darien. I just 
couldn't help it. That car will be a very nice one to use and be sure to 
thank your friend." Serena and Darien left to go and eat. At the 
restaurant they saw Mina with a cute guy. "Who's Mina with?" Asked Darien.
Serena shrugged. "I've never seen him."
        "Hey guys!" Serena and Darien waved at Mina. She came over and 
greeted each of them. "So Mina, who's the cute guy?" inquired Serena. 
"Cute?" Darien looked at Serena. "Not as cute as you." Serena reassured 
him. Darien was happy again and gave Serena a small kiss. Mina cleared 
her throat to remind them that she was there. "Anyway. His name is Rance. 
He's starting school with us this fall. He'll be in our grade. He's really
intelligent. Almost as smart as Amy but he's really cool and not all study.
He also just moved here from the USA. He is totally hot and really sweet" 
Darien looked bored, but Serena was impressed. Mina said she had to go 
back to see him. "See you at Raye's. BYE!!"
        After dinner Darien walked Serena back to her door. "I had fun 
tonight," Darien said softly. "Yeah, me too." Darien kissed her tenderly 
and they said good night.
        Now this is where I come in. My name is Melanie. I had just moved 
to Tokyo from the USA. Japan was very overwhelming and I arrived right 
after school let out. I was new and didn't know where to meet people. 
When all my stuff was finally moved in I found out there was a swimming 
pool not far from my house. I decided to go and see if I could meet people. 
I was hoping people who could speak English. I knew Japanese but I was 
more used to English. I tried to think back to the last time I was here 
with my cousin. We had stayed in an apartment for a few months during the 
summer. I remembered where an arcade was and a few restaurants were but
that was all. As I was walking to the pool I saw a familiar face. It was a
guy. He had jet black hair and blue eyes. He was tall and lean. I could 
tell he worked out because he was jogging. I couldn't put my finger on
where I'd seen him before though. I figured he just look like one of my 
friends in Houston and continued on to the pool.
        The thing I love most about summer is swimming so I was happy to 
see the pool wasn't to crowded. I had a new two-piece suit that my friend 
Anysia helped me find in Houston. I felt odd because most of the other 
girls had one pieces. Then I realized that most of them were younger their
parents wanted them to have one pieces. I felt like one of the oldest kids. 
I saw a girl who looked my age. She had a soft pink two piece and blond 
hair in two pig tails. The only strange thing was that the pigtails each 
had a ball of hair on top. It was a cool hair due but one I could never 
pull off. Anyway, I decided to try to talk to her. I jumped in the cool 
water and made my way over to her. Luckily for me she was very friendly. 
Her name was Serena and I found out we were the same age. "So what school 
will you go to next year, Melanie?" she inquired. I told her I didn't know. 
Some school with uniforms that look like sailor outfits. "You'll be going 
to my school!" Serena said happily. I was relieved. At least I would know 
someone when school starts. She said I might want to talk to a girl named 
Amy about seeing where I should be in my classes. I said I would love to 
meet her so she invited me to go with her to another girl's house named
Raye and that Amy would be there.
        Just then I saw a person walk in from the corner of my eye. 
"Rance!!!" I yelled across the pool. He looked at me with surprise.
"Melanie?" he asked shaking his head in disbelief. He jumped in the water 
and swam over to me. "What are you doing here? I thought you were still in
Houston." I gave a shrug. "My dad moved us here because his business would 
do better. What are you doing here?" I inquired back. He said his parents
moved him here too. "Your that girl Mina went to talk to last night." he 
said to Serena who was right behind me. She nodded and started telling me 
about her date and how she saw Rance there. After that I went into how we
went to school together in the states and he has been a great friend to me. 
As soon as I finished, Serena said that we had to go if we wanted to see 
Amy. I said good bye to Rance and we left.
  When we got to Raye's "house" I found out that she lived in a 
temple. They looked at me quizzically when I walked in. Serena
introduced me and told Amy that I was new and could use her help to be 
ready for school. Amy was more than thrilled to help me study. I thought I
heard her cat say something, but I figured I was imaging things. I soon
discovered it's name was Luna. Luna was black and had a funny gold shape 
on her head. Serena started telling Mina about Rance and me being friends 
in the states and Mina started asking me stuff about him. That's how it 
went on for a while. Until I excused myself to go to the bathroom. On my 
way back I heard an unfamiliar voice saying," Girls, I can feel some kind 
of energy about her. I don't know what it is." Serena piped in "You mean 
she's  from the Negaverse? " I stepped forward quietly and saw that it was
the cat talking. "I don't know but you girls
need to watch her."

That was part one. It may leave a few
questions but you can try to develop  your
