        So Very Lonely: Part 7

    (Mamoru's POV)
    This was really bad.  Usagi was in no condition to fight and 
this wacko
was a master illusionist.  How would I protect her?  If she died 
I couldn't
live.  If I died, I still wouldn't get to be with her.  It 
seemed as if
there was no solution.  However, I have a tendency to always 
underestimate
Usako.  Strange, when I really DO know how strong she is.  Very 
strong.  The
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon!
    "Mamo-chan?"She whispered this to me as I was staring at 
Darkstar.
    "Usako?"
    "Mamo-chan, could you get my locket, please?"
    "Dearest, you already have it, remember?"
    "No, Mamo-chan, my transformation locket."
    "But-'
    "Over there," she said, pointing across the room.   To get 
to the locket
I had to cross the room...and Darkstar.  Bad.  I had to do it, 
for her.  She
deserved it after all she'd been through.  Darkstar's face had 
frozen
because he knew...he knew what we wanted.  We both lunged for 
the locket at
the same time, slamming into one another and falling to the 
floor in a heap.
He shot a blast of energy into my side.
    "AAHHHHHHH"  I could hear Usagi screaming in the background:
    "Mamo-chan!  Toss me the locket!!" Twisting and rolling on 
the floor, it
was difficult to hit him with a blow.  Somehow I managed to 
wrench the
locket out of his hands and throw it to Usagi.
    "Usako! Here!" She caught it just as Darkstar plunged his 
dagger deep
into my side, right where he'd blasted me before.
    "OHhhhhhhhhh..."  I was really bleeding this time.  The last 
thing I
remember thnking was how Usako was going to win now.  Could she?

    (Ami's POV)

    Wham!!  He just..just started bleeding.  I mean, gushing 
blood.  This
was going to take me awhile to fix...  just as I reached for the 
bandages,
he disappeared.  He was gone.  Oh my gosh, if he's gone, what 
about Usagi?

    (Usagi's POV)

    I watched in horror as Mamo-chan dropped lifelessly to the 
floor.  Oh my
gosh!  I am so weak!  How can I do this? I'm so scared!  And 
then, I heard
the voice...
    "Usako..."
    "Mam..mamo-ch...chan?"
    "Fight Usako, fight for our kingdom!"  Mamo-chan was talking 
to me in my
head, was he dieing?  As I watched *something*went into his 
body, somehow
making it more complete.  Was it his real body?  I believe so 
because I felt
a little stronger, as well.
    "Cosmic Moon Power, Maaaake-UP"  I stood as Cosmic Sailor 
Moon,
protector of love and justice.  Protector of my only love, my 
Mamo-chan.
    "!n the name of the moon, I'm going to kick your sorry 
butt!!"
    "Moooooon  Spiral Heart ATTACK!!"

    "Rei...Rei..Rei-CHAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!"
    'What Minako!  What is it.  Oh my...  Where's Usagi??!!"
    "She..she just disappeared!"
