So Very Lonely Part: 8

(Usagi's POV)

 "Moooooooo Spiral Heaaaarrrt ATTACK!!"  I was going to win this 
fight!!
That psycho had almost killed my boyfriend, possessed my body, 
and tried to
poison my FOOD!!  You just don't do any of that stuff unless 
you're ready to
answer to me, which apparently, he was.  The attack hit him dead 
on.  HA, if
only Rei-chan could see me now!!  (AN: HAHA, Kelly)  Right on 
target!!  Yep,
that's me...Sailor Moon!!!  My humongous grin quickly faded as I 
realized
the truth.  This guy wasn't even hurt.  He was fine.  He looked 
EXACTLY the
same!!  Not good, not good at all.
    "Oh, Sailor Moon!!  You've got to be joking!  That wand of 
yours is
nothing but a toy!!"
    "Um, of course!!  I've got *way* more power than THAT!!!"  I 
said this
waving my hand at him.  I was hoping he would show some sign of 
weakness.
He didn't.
    "I call upon the powers of Darksssssssstarrrr...," he 
hissed, hands
raised above his head.  Omigosh, what was I gonna do now!!!
    "You stop that!!" I screetched, lamely.
    "Starquake, NOW!!!"  Black energy surged its way across the
floor...towards me.  Towards me.  ME??!!!
    "Yeaaaaaaaaaa!!"  I barely dodged it, but I remained 
uninjured except
for previous blows.
    "That's IT!!"  Now you DIE!!"
    "You wish!!"  I now believed that Darkstar had 
underestimated my power.
He had planned to kill me with the first blow, but that didn't 
exactly work
out.  This time his plan wouldn't work.  I wasn't going to allow 
it.  I had
to do it to save Mamo-chan!!  I began to grow nervous as 
Darkstar did
absolutly  NOTHING.  The silence pounded in my ears, surrounding 
me.  I was
vaugly aware that my side was throbbing.  He just stood there, 
staring at
me.  Very slowly, he reached up to his forehead, brushing his 
chestnut bangs
aside to reveal a black crescent moon.  Very softly, he began to 
speak:
    "Sailor Moon, do you know what you've done?  You have defied 
me!!  ME,
Lord Darkstar!  Now, you must DIE!!"  A powerful blast of energy 
slammed
against me, pushing me into the wall of mirrors, which slicced 
my skin.  It
was too much.  I can't go on.  How will I beat him?  I turned my 
head,
preparing to die, but then I saw him.  *Mamo-chan*  There, lying 
so
helplessly on the floor.  *Mamo-chan*  I had to do it.  He had 
protected me
until now and *now* I must protect him.  i looked Darkstar 
straight in the
eye.
    "Mooooon Crystal Power!!!"  *whooooooooosh*  I began to 
radiate the
almighty white light, that's purity had saved me so many times 
before.  Our
powers combined, pushing at wach other.  His was beginning to 
take over
mine!!  I must try harder. *Mamo-chan*  Yes. *Mamo-chan* Yes.  
*Oh,
Mamo-chan!*  YES!!  Mt power wqas overcoming his.  I was going 
to win, but
could my body survive?
    "NOOOOOOOOoooooooo!!"  I could hear Darkstar screaming and 
then he was
gone.  I had defeated him.  We had defeated him, my Mamo-chan 
and I!  I fell
to the floor, perfectly happy that unconciousness was taking me, 
but...?
Mamo-chan?  He didn't have enough energy to survive!1  I crawled 
over to him
and placed my hands on his chest.  Concentrating with all my 
might,  I gave
him most of my remaining energy.  The last thing I thought, 
before passing
out, was that I hoped I would wake up again.

    "Rei-chan!!  Rei-chan!!"
    "Ami-chan?"
    "Did...did...Usagi......?"
    "Disappear?  Yes."
    "Their real bodies were transported to their dream selves, 
giving them
more power!!'
    "How will we find them now?"
    "I found the exit to Darkstar's dimenson."
