The Only Reason By: Neo-Queen Serenity E-Mail: serenausako@hotmail.com Webpage: http://crystaltokyo.cjb.net A girl of shining blonde hair met a boy that had hair which resembled the color of midnight. She loves him, even though she didn’t know why. Let love stay on it’s normal track, or take a step further? In a freezing winter night, the boy whispered his promise of love beside her ears for the first time. She could hear her heart’s struggling. A friend told her: take a piece of snow white paper, in the middle draw a line. List all reasons of "to marry" and "not to marry", which side has the most reason, which side is her choice. The girl really took a piece of paper, "marry" on the left, "not marry" on the right. On the right side, she wrote down without giving much of her thought. 1. He just graduated, she wouldn’t be financially stable; 2. They’re from different culture, there will be lots of trouble in the future if they’re actually going to live under the same roof... But in the "marry" column, she thought over and over again, leaving only one reason with the trace of her black pen. Finishing her task, the girl couldn’t help but keep on thinking: yes, he’s poor, but he’s also talented. Who said that he couldn’t be a millionaire? She crossed the first line; There isn’t anybody who has the same style of living, a whole life that long, they could get along, she crossed the next... Finally, the girl started crying, tears fell on the paper that lay before her silently. On the right side of the column, various reasons piled up one after another, but all crossed out, not even a single one was left behind, the reason for not to marry is now zero. On the left, there is still only one reason, a word that had been traced numerous times, "LOVE." All reasons could be crossed out easily, all could be forgotten, only love could not. Perhaps, in front of love, there isn’t any reason... The End.
