DISCLAIMER: Sailor Moon not owned by me! Owned by Naoko Takeuchi, DiC, Kodansha.... Don't be troubled about the start! The next part explains a lot. BTW - it's during the 'break-up- period and it's totally different to this part. One True Soul-mate Prologue By: Roo Email: roovel@xoommail.com "C'mon! Move!" Tuxedo Mask yelled in the burning building. People ran out the fire exit, safely making it outside while the scouts finished a droid. "AHHH!!!" Sailor Moon screamed as a support beam just narrowly missed her. "C'mon scouts! Move!" They agreed with their leader. Five scouts rushed to the exit. Everyone made it safely outside except for Sailor Moon. "Get outta here!" Tuxedo Mask yelled. "Not without you!" Sailor Moon yelled over the blazing fire. "I have to see if there are anymore survivors!" "There aren't! Come on!" She grabbed his arm. He yanked his arm away. "No, Usagi. Don't worry." And with that, he was off to find any survivors. Sailor Moon quickly made it to safety. Once she was outside, she quickly detransformed like her friends. "Where's Mamoru?" Minako asked. "He's gone to find survivors." "Survivors?!" Rei yelled. "Is he nuts?!" Suddenly there was a crashing sound as the building collapsed. Usagi's eyes widened with tears. "Mamo-chan!" She ran to the building, but was stopped by security. She yelled his name over and over again. "It's okay, Usagi," Ami said. "He probably made it..." Serena ran around the ambulances and people, not finding her love. "Mamo..." she collapsed to the ground, crying her heart out. The next morning Usagi visited the hospital and didn't find Mamoru. Reports said that they found one skeleton in the wreckage, but they couldn't identify the person as all the staff of the building had made it out safely. Usagi ran back home, locked herself in her room, and started to cry again. Few days later, Usagi held a memorial service in his name where only her friends attended. A stone was marked at the spot with his name engraved in it. Over the years, Sailor Moon met new allies. She later knew them by their normal identities. It was at that time that her new and old friends were at picnic, long forgetting Mamoru's death. "Are you attending the university in England?" Seiya asked. "Yep," Usagi replied. "I'll miss you, Odango." "Don't be stupid, Seiya-chan. I'm sure I'll see you again. Will you be touring there?" "Now I am," he said, giving her a big smile. "How 'bout we all watch the racing instead of lazing around here?" Haruka asked. "Nhaa..." Yaten said. "We'll just laze around here..." He was lying down on his back with his head on Mina's lap. "What are you going to be studying, Usagi-chan?" Ami asked. "Textiles and design. I want to be a fashion designer, or a costume designer. Wouldn't that be wicked cool!" "Wouldn't you have to learn English?" Lita asked. "Hmm-hhm. But I know a bit, anyway." "Let's go see a movie," Rei suggested. Everyone agreed. "There's a great new movie with an actor named Darien Sterling. He's kinda cute. He reminds me of Mamoru." "Mamoru...?" Usagi said softly. "Mamo-chan..." she said lovingly. "Rei!" Mina whispered harshly. "You know how sensitive she can get!" "Sorry." Rei looked down. "It just came out... I'm sorry Usagi." "Who's Mamoru?" Seiya asked. He never recalled Usagi saying his own name like that. "Excuse me." Usagi stood up. "I'll be... Back soon..." She left. "Who is he?" "Her ex-boyfriend," Lita said. "Will she be alright?" Michiru asked. "We're not so sure," Ami asked. "He died in a fire as Tuxedo Mask, his alter ego. That was four years ago." "It's okay, Rei," Lita said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "She'll be okay." "I really hope so." Usagi sat by a rowing lake, recalling many memories without trying to cry. "How are you, Mamo-chan?" she asked, looking at a photo of him. "Are you happy? I hope you are. Especially with me not around. I always made you unhappy. "I'm going to England to study. Are you proud of me, Mamo-chan? I hope you are. I plan on forgetting you. Should I do that? England is a whole new world of opportunities, and I'm not sure if I should find somebody new. "Mamo-chan!" She cried softly. "Why? Why did you do it? There were no survivors. You could have saved yourself. "I love you, Mamo-chan! I'll never, ever forget you or our love." She stood up, her mood dampened. "Are you alright, Usa-chan?" Seiya asked as she sat down at the picnic again. "Yep! Why shouldn't I be?" She pasted on a smile. "We decided not to see the movie..." Rei began. "Hey! Don't stop to see it because of me! I won't see it. You know how I'll feel." Everyone nodded their agreement. Usagi travelled to England and attended the university. One year later, she was dubbed as the famous 'Seiya's girl'. She, of course denied any intimate relationship with Seiya Kou, but he didn't want to, but still understood her feelings for him. Usagi finished her textiles and designed course and had many projects as a costume designer for many famous movies. She was known as the best designer for her age and gained popularity around the globe. TO BE CONTINUED... You can read a bit of part 1 on my web page http://members.xoom.com/roovel/roo.htm
