This is my story of how Mamoru proposed to Usagi. It's just a one parter, because I had written this as an English assignment. It may not be all that good cause I had to type it all up and spit it out in one night, final draft and all. But Sidnei said it was *REALLY* great and that I should send it in. So here it is! **MAJOR** thanks to Sidnei for listening to me, boring as I may be, and encouraging me, and being my little editor. Also **MAJOR** thanks to one of my best friends in the world, Sailor Celestial, for listening to all my gripes and moans and for also editing all my stories and criticizing all my pictures (you know I *ALWAY* do the same for you, Celestial ^_^). Thanks to everybody else, who's written me and encouraged me through e-mail, even when I've killed off all the people in my stories. And for those of you who are waiting for me to update Sailor Celestial's story, 'Reflections of Reality', I'm sorry I haven't, and I *KNOW* it was cut off in the middle of the first two chapters, but every time I tried to fix it, something went wrong. My parents have ALSO cut me off of the Internet because I had SOME bad grades, ::shrinks back, and laughs nervously:: so I'm having Sidnei send this in for me. And I'll have her update Sailor Celestial's story also. So **MAJOR** thanks to Sidnei again for sending these stories in for me! I can't accept any e-mails right now cause of the fore mentioned Internet cut off ^_^;;;, but I hope to be back on by October or December. So, if any of you sent me e-mail and I haven't gotten back to you, **I'M SOOO SORRY**!!!! I have *SO* many new story ideas that are bursting out of my head, but I can't send them in and I haven't had time to type them up either, because I've had a **VERY** busy summer. So, I hope to have some new chapters for you guys by the time I get on. But don't quote me on that. Here's a list of authors that you should DEFINITELY read: Lianne - VERY intense!! Razzz - Totally cool beans!! (I think Sidnei's rubbing off on me too much...) Ninx - Are you a him or a her?! I'm *SORRY*, no offense intended, but you're confusing me!! And Sidnei and I and Sailor Celestial have a debate going on about you. ^_^ Crystal Heart - The **BEST** alternate fics EVER!!! Jade - Very emotional!! Lilac Summers - I absolutely *LOVED* your story, 'Final Truths'!! Fushigi Kismet - The absolute ***BEST*** Silver Millennium fic ever!!! Happy belated birthday!!! Mark Berger & Sailor Mac - Totally romantic!!! Lady M. Harris - I hate that you always make Darien out to be a male chauvinist pig, but you write **BEAUTIFULLY**!!!! Jennifer Wand - The best Tuxedo Mask Shrine EVER!! And GREAT fics!! Pandora - You can *SO* get into Darien's mind! Tiga Shadow - LOVE your fics!! Sailor November - Have fun in Europe, and you better write some more! And last but definitely not least, SIDNEI! - who is fast becoming one of my best friends!! ^_^ You BETTER write those stories, girl!!! I'm sorry if I left anyone out, but I'm getting tired of writing the author's notes. Okay, enough with these stupid author's notes, I hate writing these!!! Standard Disclaimer: Sailor Moon does not belong to me. If it did, you'd be seeing this on your TV screen. I'm just a poor girl satisfying her craving by writing these beautiful (I hope!) fanfics, so please don't sue me. Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi, DIC Entertainment, Toei Animation, Koshonda, and a bunch of others who I don't know who they are. So, as I said before, don't sue me. ^_^ ~~<<~~~@ @~~~<<~~ Forever Your Love By Sailor Thunder ~~<<~~~@ @~~~<<~~ She waited anxiously in the garden for him. A piece of paper was clenched in her hands. She had read it so many times that she was surprised that her gaze had not yet torn the words for the page. She unfolded for the fifth time the last ten minutes, and reread it: Usako, Meet me in the garden near the lake at nine o'clock tonight. I have a special surprise for you. Don't be late. (I know you always are. ^_~) Forever your love, Mamo-chan @~~~>>~~ She folded it once more and stared intently into the night, her eyes shining light and wistful. He stared silently at her from the cover of the trees, watching as a slight breeze ruffled her golden hair causing it to swirl around her face. She shivered slightly. Behind her, he placed his strong arms around her to warm her. She gasped slightly, and tilted her face up only to come face to face with his. "Hey, Mamo-chan. You're late," her whispered voice was punctuated by a small giggle. He kissed her forehead softly and sat down on the bench to her. "Usako, did you know that I'm not late, you're early." She looked at him in confusion. "Nani?" "I asked you to be here early. I wasn't planning on getting here until nine fifteen." Mamoru watched comprehension dawn on her face. She punched him playfully. "Why you little... I ought to..." "To do what?" Usagi caught amusement dancing in his eyes. "I ought to... to kiss you." Mamoru was caught off guard as she threw herself at him, causing them to fall in a tangled heap on the ground. Usagi was giggling uncontrollably by this point, and Mamoru found her laughter to be infectious. As soon as he had regain his self control, he stood up, offering his hand to her. She placed her slim hand in his larger one and let him pull her up. "C'mon, Usako, let's take a walk." "OK," she agreed, resting her head on his chest as his arm enfolded her. They walked toward the lake silently. "Mamo-chan, what was it that you had for me?" They stopped near the edge of the lake. "Well?" she asked, "Mamo-chan?" She was plainly surprised when he knelt before her and took her hand. "Tsukino Usagi," Mamoru reached into the pocket of his slacks and pulled out a small black box, "will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He placed the box in her hand then withdrew his. Usagi felt his intense gaze as her trembling hands struggled to open the box. Her heart leapt from her chest when the lid finally popped open. Inside, laying on a tiny velvet pillow, was a small ring holding nothing but a single diamond shaped like a crescent moon. The diamond lay in the center of a gold rose. "Oh, Mamo-chan," Usagi breathed, "of course I will." Mamoru stood up, taking the ring from her, and placing it on her finger. "Mamo-chan, it's beautiful." "The ring is nothing compared to you, Usako. It only makes its wearer more beautiful." He smiled down lovingly at her, seeing the moonlight glinting off the tears that formed at the corner of her deep marine eyes. Usagi felt herself drowning in her eyes as he pulled her closer to min. She trembled in his arms as he leaned down to her level. She stretched up, her lips groping at the air until they found him. The trees gave them shelter from the probing eyes of the night, hiding them from the world around them. Moonlight filtered through the leaves, barely illuminating their faces. The two shared an eternal kiss. A kiss that had begun a thousand years before and would last another thousand years. I'd like to thank everybody out there, who sat through this story. If you have any comments, Sidnei's going to accept them for me. So, you can send them to her at Sidnei@aol.com and I'll reply if I can. No promises. See you in the next fic!!!
