| Freak-Ed plays california styled punk rock with lots of heavy riffs.Someone once said :"Hey guys,you sound like Iron maiden".Over a half of the band supports cruelty-free lifestyle.Freak-Ed is 100% against furs and animal testing...Leave it to history!!. The lyrics of Freak-Ed. I can say that lyrics tell you about human and animal rights,moral and ethic questions,anti-fascism and we do have happy songs, too (oh,for summer). |

| Freak-Ed started in 1993 with far away differend people than now. There's now two original members left (what's the meaning originality in this case, I think Freak-Ed is now what it should have been then). 1993 We played gigs at the youth places in Vantaa with :Tom Vahtera,Toni Leppänen,Ykä Järvinen and Toni Kimpimäki. 1994 We found our way to Helsinki and played in couple of pubs and in Lepakko. 1995 Spinefarm released our CDEP "To be your friend" and we gigged around Finland.1996 Freak-Ed played in a couple of rock festivals and cities in Finland. We had new guitarist Janne Rantala who retired soon after releasing our longplay CANTORES MAJORES,the year was 1997. Late'97 I think Freak-Ed was born and the reason for that was Pauli. He was so perfect to Ed that our music and live act got far away better. And our new songs are worth listening. We are goin' to do a new CDEP "heavy-metal revolution" soon. If you didn't like Freak-ed before, I think you gotta try again... |

| There are things that I can't understand #1 are fascism and homophobia, both of 'em are based on lack of comprehension and prejudice. Let's imagine a child who is born in a world and he is homosexual , what can he do about it? Nothing! That is he, like someone else is hetero ,he is homosexual. Got it?! And that same in fascism to people who has differend color of skin! Finnish people are so jealous that if someone who is from another country and has differend color of skin gets a job from here , you can hear something like this: fuck them! They come here to take our jobs and women !!! That sounds like a speech of a imbesill person . Hey , haven't you noticed that we're living in a new world ,in an international Finland thank goodness. |

Finnish people die in heart attacks very often. Can you tell me why? Well, I can. Because of the food they eat (ok,there are many other reasons but food is the biggest one). I'm not saying this just because I'm a vegan, I'm saying this 'cause people could make their lives more valuable and far away more healthy, too. But healthyness is not a reason of veganism this time. This is so used sentence but I have to use it now MEAT MEANS MURDER AND DAIRY MEANS RAPE. But that's not so simple. Meat industry is so cruel to animals , it gives no respect at all for animals on their last hours of living. So, my choice is animal friendly! GO VEGAN,PLEASE! |
