Stirman's Regiment Arkansas Sharpshooters

Organization:
Organized by the consolidation of Bridges Sharpshooters Battalion and the 1st Cavalry Battalion on August 1, 1862. Soon broken up and the cavalry battalion reformed. Unclear as to whether the sharpshooter battalion was reorganized or merged into the cavalry battalion.
