Discordia, our Bastard-Flavor of the week, is a young woman with many interests and talents. Along with being a very visible net.goth (she's been featured on a whole mess of awards sites, and she deserves each one of them), she is a rather prolific writer whose work in poetry and with her novel is available on her web page. More of her writing is available at the Gothic Reality Check of the Week under her Cattygoth persona, Discord Kitty. Discordia has taken on Mansonites, hypocrites, and, in her words, "blahhhhhhhhhhdddddy vampires" under her penname, producing some hilariously funny essays on the less savory aspects of the Goth scene.
Like last week's feature, Isobel, Discordia favors a cyber-age Vampire Hunting method. No stakes and garlic for this wicked slayer--instead, she tracks down these blood-sucking vermin through their web pages and submits them to the scrutiny of Straylight and the Cattygoths. Discordia can also be found in various chat rooms applying a bit of heat to the rear-ends of would-be vampires. For her outstanding contributions to the field of "Vampiric Wake-Up Calls," I award Discordia with an enthusiastic Vampire Hunting Bastard Award!
