Fighting as Smoke

If used correctly, Smoke can be very dangerous. If your opponent throws a projectile your way, quickly counter it with Smoke's Teleport Uppercut. If you can, after you counter with a Teleport Uppercut, press HP, HP, then throw his spear and do Combo #3. This causes massive damage to your opponent.

Finally, do not use the Spear too often because your opponent will anticipate it and counter with an airborne attack.


Fighting Against Smoke

When fighting Smoke, try to anticipate his Spear. If you do, counter with a jump kick. You can also throw a projectile causing damage to him but doesn't allow the Spear to snag you.

Also, if you block his Teleport Uppercut, you can counter with a swift uppercut of your own.


Smoke's Weaknesses

Smoke's major weakness is if your opponent blocks your Teleport Uppercut. If they do, it leaves you open for a uppercut. Also, if your Spear is anticipated, your opponent can counter with a jump kick.

Ending

Smoke was once a friend and ally of Sub-Zero when they both tried to escape from being turned into machines by their ninja clan. But Smoke is captured and transformed into a cyborg with a mission to kill his own partner. But Smoke soon finds himself being pursued by Shao Kahn's minions. He learns he still has a soul and his true mission is the destruction of the Outworld invaders. He defeats Kahn and saves the world, but is forever trapped in his artificial body.
