GOUKI (called AKUMA outside of Japan)
=========================================================================

Gouki is the student of Goutetsu, a brilliant martial artist whose only
other disciple was Gouken. Goutetsu's knowledge of Shotokan karate
included that of a 'killing intent' that allowed the user of such karate
to slay people using special attacks. Goutetsu decided that such a
murderous use of Shotokan karate should be forgotten, and so when he
explained this to Gouken, his disciple kept this in mind and never once
mentioned the 'killing intent' to his students, Ryu, Ken, and Dan, many
years later. Wanting only power though, Gouki re-discovered the
'killing intent' against his master's wishes and used the most powerful
technique, 'Shun-goku-satsu', to destroy Goutetsu. Even though Goutetsu
knew all the killing techniques himself, he refused to use them, even
when Gouki confronted him. Gouki then left and decided to go out into
the world to test his new powers on his challengers.

Hits:     15
Notes: The CPU Gouki could use this prior to the battle against him
          in SSF2X, but Capcom didn't make this attack into an actual
          move until Street Fighter Zero. In SFZ2 DASH, it's required
          that you have a Level 3 (fully-filled) Super Combo Gauge in
          order to do this move. When Shin Gouki uses this move, he
          warps forward at double speed.

KEN
=========================================================================

An American who is unruly, reckless, and a show-off, Ken was sent to
Japan by his father to study karate under Gouken, in the hopes that
learning a martial art would teach him discipline and patience.
Instead Ken brought his own unique style to Shotokan karate, and yet
was true to Gouken and became a skilled practicioner. During the
course of his studies, he also became the friend and rival of Ryu,
who was the only person who he was not skilled enough to beat
repeatedly in battle. Knowing that prize money pays big when it
comes to fighting tournaments, Ken has entered various contests around
the world, while Ryu continued to train in Japan. Easily fighting
through them all, he heard that Ryu had entered a famous tourney
called 'Street Fighter' and he joined as well, eager to show his old
pal what he had learned since their days together in Japan.
