ASK YOUR CHILD WHAT INTERESTS HIM/HER Find books to read to the child in his/her category of interest--it doesn’t matter what the child is interested in--let him/her hear you read what he/she thinks is interesting. READING RAINBOW is an excellent source of stimulating books--one such book is Castle in the Attic. Build off what you’re reading--while reading Castle in the Attic, get a book about the layout of castles. It doesn’t matter how old your child is--birth to teen--read to the child for 20 minutes per day at least--more is better!! |
