'Sixty-Five Delicious Dishes' was published by the Fleischmann Co. in 1919. The recipes were compiled and tested for them by Marion Harris Neil, a well-known cook book author of the day. The pamphlet is 30 pages with recipes for such items as: Oysters in a Crust Case, Portuguese Toast, English Monkey, and Fig Pudding.
1 cup bread crumbs Hot buttered toast 1 cup milk 1 egg 1 tablespoon butter 3/4 cup grated cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt Few grains red pepper Soak the bread crumbs 15 minutes in milk. Melt the butter and add the cheese; when cheese has melted, add the soaked crumbs and seasonings. Mix well together and pour over hot buttered toast. Serve at once.
