GEORGE LOMBARDO was a top competitor all over New England during
the 5O's and 6O's, winning numerous features everywhere
he raced.  Besides his many victories at Plainville 
Stadium and Waterford Speedbowl,  George is tied with 
Geoff Bodine at 29th on the all-time win list at Riverside Park Speedway with 9 wins between June 1953 and Sept. 1959.
