Buzz, Woody, & Miss Tizzy: The Terrible Trio!
The Three That Stole Our Hearts!

Hi, if you're familiar with the News Group alt.pet.ferrets, then I'm sure that you have heard of us, Buzz & Woody. My mom's daughter recieved us from a friend of hers that no longer wanted us. Our old mom had a female ferret for some time, and she didn't like us boys. So, we didn't get out of our cage much, and are making up for lost time here.

Me (Buzz) & Woody are around 2 1/2 year old littermates, we'll be 3 in early November, and we are inseperable. I am a Silver mitt, Woody is a Sable, MF I think, due to the two dot tatoo's on our ears (I have one on a toe). I weigh a little more than 3 lbs., and my brother weighs a little more than 2.5 lbs. I am getting a little fat belly, due to having surgery to remove 2 hairballs Feb. 19th. I eat like a little piggy, just about anything anybody throws my was (not those nasty raisin thingies though) and hopefully with the running around that I do, I will regain some of my muscle back. Woody feels much heavier, but isn't, he is solid muscle, very strong for a little guy, and he was the boss.(Not any more, I'm the alpha ferret thingie now!) He used to push me around all the time, but he also loves me, gives me daily baths and cuddles me all the time. He's not very cuddly with hoomans, but they are working on that. He'd rather be down, seeing what he can get into and steal, and boy, does he steal!

I'm the opposite. I love cuddling up to mommy and my hooman sister. The only thingie that I ever stole was cat hair. I like running to mommy when she calls my name and want to be picked up. Mommy says that I have big, trusting eyes. It just melts her heart. I like sneaking up on the kittie and yanking out a big chunk of kittie hair from her tail. Kittie (I think the hooman's call her Jinx, more like stinx to me!) jumps way up in the air when I take her hair, and then runs like kitties run when they're skared. He, He, funny kittie!

Woody,Miss Tizzy, and I loves Cheerio's, the hunny nut kind. Miss Tizzy and I loves cat treats (Pounce or Bonkers), cooked turkey or chicken, or anything that we may sink our teeth into. Neither of us will take the other one's treats or will touch a raisin, but love a little banana, grape, cooked noodles or minature marshmallows, and the latest treat we share is a minature frosted wheat together.

Both us boys love the kitties, Jinx and Tygger. The feeling isn't always mutual. Jinx, the long haired orange tabby, is amused by the two of us, and skaredy kat of Miss Tizzy and often plays ferret tag with Woody. I like to sneaks up behind her and bites the end of her tail, then looks at mommy and sorta smile,(I swear his eyes smile!) with a mouthful of orange fur. Hence, hairball surgery.

Tygger, a brown, small short haired tabby, thinks that the us ferrets are her latest hot meal, and has gotten ahold of both us boys, which will never happen again, cuz mommy locks her up in the basement we all us ferts are running around!!

All of us are pretty much litter trained. It didn't take long, but there is still and occasional accident. The latest being in the bathtub during a bath (oh joy). (Don't tell mommy, but it was me! he, he!)

"Lets see, if I hide in here, they'll never find me!"
