Tripod decided to a) halve its site sizes and b) impose ridiculous bandwidth/traffic restrictions, ** all without bothering to TELL anyone of the changes **.

The Holy Shrine of Journey used well over 1/2 its monthly bandwidth in the FIRST WEEK of January...and when I contacted Tripod tech support to ask about the bandwidth monitor I saw on the page, Tripod threatened to freeze the HSOJ unless I somehow cut it down to under 20 MB. Considering that the HSOJ is about *50* MB, you're talking impossible. Add to that the non-existence of competent tech support on Tripod's end...well, let's just say I wished I'd wised up sooner.
