The Balloon Suit

These huge jumpsuits slowed jumpers down in freefall considerably. In this picture the jumper with the giant suit weighed 300 pounds and the suit kept his fall rate down to almost normal. However these suits with their built in vents for inflation would sometimes malfunction sending the jumper into a violent spin. Also there was a problem with Pilot Chute hesitation.
