The Real Story of Flight 93:
GOD'S PIC page #1:

EVERYONE HURTS                         By Mary Ann Everyone hurts. To hurt means to feel pain. Websters defines pain as physical suffering, acute mental or emotional distress or suffering. A bruised or broken heart causes the most excuciating pain known to mankind. A wounded heart carries a pain that is both physical and spiritual. Friends and loved ones can help ease the pain for a time. But, once alone the pain resurfaces as a broken heart is usually a tender and fragile one. Hearts that are open and trusting, not afraid to admit it's need for love ... a heart which reaches for love and understanding is the one wounded the most. It is human nature to ponder the hows and whys of our pains, but what matters is the willingness to move on - to heal - to grow - to accept- and to have faith that nothing happens that God does not allow. To have the understanding that pain serves a worthy purpose in our lives is to realize and accept these experiences as our chance to choose to grow. It is how you choose to respond to your pain that counts. The choices you make create your reality, for example - if you choose to not to let fear scare you, it cannot stay. 1Peter 4:12-13 tells us "Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But, rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ". God does not promise our lives will be easy but in 1Corinthians 10:13 he does promise "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." It is through this understanding that by faith in God and his Word, that we muster the courage to face painful situations and circumstances that are necessary for our spiritual growth. The antidote to our pain is faith. It is believing steadfastly in God and turning away from the negative aspect of the pain and seeking out the positive ... asking ourselves "what can I learn from this experience." It is letting go and giving it to God to handle. When God is in control you will find love and love heals all wounds. The choice is yours, how choose you? Love or pain? To grow or have faith?
