As many of you noted, "Transfusion" is the song that earned Dr. Demento his moniker. Nearly three decades ago, in the studios of KPPC, he was spinning that tune when a passerby commented, "You gotta be demented to play that @#%!" (Also note the mention of Dr.D.'s real first name in the lyrics of "Transfusion.")
